Roadmap
This release will be a critical bugfix release - no new features! It gives us an opportunity to fix any errors that we missed in 2.2.0.
We aim to get 2.2.1 stable released a week after milestone:2.2.1-rc1.
2.2.2 will be a "stability release", focusing on bugfixes, refinements, and polish.
On this date we will stop development on trunk and move development to branches/2.2.2. After this point, we will be focusing on rigourous testing and bug-fixes that don't have dangerous side-effects.
HOW TO HELP: If you want to contribute to SilverStripe? core, we would appreciate your patches by this date.

This will be a release to deal with critical, small fixes that arise after 2.3.0 goes stable, improve IIS compatibility, and add Mollom support.
This will be a release for bugfixes and minor improvements. Major API changes will be left until 2.4.0. Note that while there are a large number of tickets against this milestone, very few of them have been reviewed and confirmed for inclusion in the milestone.
We aim to have RC1 of 2.3.2 released by 1st May, and expect that 2.3.2 stable will be released by the 15th of May.

We've discovered a few bugs in 2.3.2 that are causing the community issues with the ecommerce and cmsworkflow modules, among others. 2.3.3 will resolve these.
With version 2.4.0,SilverStripe's aim remains the same: to give web professionals a productive environment for delivering websites and web applications.
- Allowing for nested URLs to support larger website structures and more expressive hierarchies.
2.4.0 alpha will be the initial preview release of this new work. Our primary focus will be on getting the first version of the new developer APIs released, so that site developers and module maintainers can see how these new APIs will interact with their code as soon as possible.
These are some key features that we hope to resolve in 2.4.0 alpha:
Milestone: 2.3.4

Milestone: 2.3.5
Completed 3 years ago (21/01/10 13:46:28)
With 2.4.0 alpha released, most of the ground work will have been put in place for the 2.4.0 release. In 2.4.0 beta, we will focus on tying the new APIs together with a set of user interfaces that provide a consistent experience for the different kinds of people using SilverStripe?.

Milestone: 2.3.7
Completed 3 years ago (18/03/10 13:14:50)
Focus on fixing regressions introduced in beta2. In particular, link rewriting and installer issues.
In the time between releasing 2.4.0 beta and 2.4.0 stable, we will focus on polish: nailing any remaining bugs and usability issues, and ensuring that performance and memory usage is reasonable.
UserForms? 0.3 release is planned to be a cleanup of the 0.2 release and optimization of existing code functionality.
The first release of SilverStripe's CMS Workflow module will extend the CMS with a number of features that will make it better suited to larger organisations with separate authors and publishers. Over time, more complex and sophisticated content management features will be added to the CMS Workflow module, which will mean that the core CMS can remain a simpler CMS targeted at smaller user groups.
- Different sections of the site can have different authors and publishers.
- In cases where the author and publisher differ, author can request publication of their work, which publishers can then approve or reject. An email-based workflow keeps everyone aware of what needs to be done.
- In addition, a number of reports and RSS feeds make it easier to keep control.
